Warm the mince pie in the microwave (removing the foil case) or a low oven.

When ready to eat, remove the peel and pith from the zested ½ orange and roughly chop. Layer up a sundae glass, starting with some crumbled mince pie and orange zest, followed by a scoop of ice cream, more zest, the chopped orange and nuts, then more mince pie. Repeat, reserving some zest. Scatter with the remaining zest to serve.
